My Favorite Things–Release Replay!

Hello crafty friends!!

Print

I’m popping in today to share another project featuring some of the newly released My Favorite Things products for the Release Replay Challenge!  This one is super easy, and features a couple of new products – the Spooky Sweets Stamp Set and the Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows Die-Namics.

This project was super easy to create, and came together in a snap!  For some reason when I saw those Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows, I immediately thought of pumpkins!  Here’s how I created this project:

  1. Trim an A2, horizontal, top-folding card base from Smooth White Card StockScore at 4.25”, fold in half and perfect the crease with a Teflon Bone Folder.
  2. Die cut an image panel from Smooth White Card Stock using the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 23 Die-Namics.  Die cut the the pumpkin openings using the Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows Die-Namics.
  3. Trim a piece of orange polka dot paper (Dots & Stripes Sorbet 6 x 6 Paper Pad) to fit behind the image panel, and adhere it to the card base with tape runner.
  4. Temporarily position the image panel onto the card base so that the patterned paper shows through the windows.  Stamp the pumpkin faces from the Spooky Sweets Stamp Set using Black Licorice Hybrid InkStamp the pumpkin stems using Gumdrop Green Hybrid Ink.
  5. Wrap black and white baker’s twine around the bottom of the image panel and tie it into a bow.  Adhere the image panel to the card base with foam tape.
  6. Stamp the sentiment from the Spooky Sweets Stamp Set onto the card base using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.

I’m not really a Halloween girl, but honestly those pumpkins are pretty stinkin’ cute.  This could be a “just because” card for anyone!!  I’ve linked all of the products I used below.  Be sure and click on through to the My Favorite Things Design Blog to be linked to the other Release Replay projects that my sweet teammates have created for your inspiration.

That’s it for me today, friends!  I’ll be back soon with more crafty goodness to share with you!  Until then, thanks so much for stopping by – have a great day!
