Hello my friends!!
I’m popping in quickly, after a very long weekend of crafting, to share a project that I created for the My Favorite Things Release Replay Challenge!! My teammates and I are sharing projects with a new spin on the October New Release Products!!! Mine is a CAS design, featuring the Oh Christmas Trees Die-Namics – one that could be very easily mass produced (as long as you don’t mind finding glitter in every orifice of your body! LOL)
I looooooves me some bling!! I wanted to use a jewel tone, somewhat non-traditional Christmas Color Palette, so I grabbed some of my microfine glitter jars and some Scor-Tape! Boom! Here’s how I created my project:
- Adhere multiple strips of 1/4” Scor-Tape to the large rectangle panel, making sure to leave the top release paper intact. Carefully remove the release paper strips, one at a time, and BEFORE removing the next strip sprinkle alternating glitter colors onto the exposed adhesive (I used Sky, Leaf Green, Lavendar, and Silver Microfine Glitter). Burnish each color with your finger to make sure the entire strip is covered. Repeat this step until each strip is covered with a different color of glitter.
- Adhere the glitter mat to the card base with foam tape.
- Adhere the stitched rectangle to the glitter mat with foam tape.
It really is super easy, easily reproduced and very sparkly!! I love that microfine glitter, and it comes in so many beautiful colors!! All of the products that I used are listed below.

That’s it for me today, friends!! I’m finally having a chance to have lunch with my bestie today, so I’m really looking forward to that!! And it’s HOT here in AZ – woot!! Sunshine and lunch – what more could a girl want, right?! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have some sunshine and lunch in store for your day today!
