Well hello!!
Did you think that I fell off the face of the earth after last week?!! I sure felt like I did – it’s so good to feel like I can breathe again after all the CHA hoopla! I’m popping in today to share a project that I created that was inspired by this week’s My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge!! Here’s the sketch:
Awesome, right?!! And here’s my interpretation of the sketch!
Okay, so I flipped the sketch on it’s side, making it a horizontal card rather than a vertical card. And I realize now that I should have taken my rainbow strip all the way across the card. Oh well – call it creative license! LOL Anywho, this project features the Amazing Stamp Set and the Doubly Amazing Die-Namics. I blended some Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks onto a panel of Smooth White Card Stock, and then die cut it using the stitched strip from the Blueprints 1 Die-Namics. I’ve linked all of the products that I used below.
Please click on through to the My Favorite Things Challenge Blog to be check out the other amazingly beautiful inspiration that my sweet teammates have created using this week’s sketch! No doubt you’ll be blown away!
That’s it for me today, my friends! I’m in the midst of video editing and voice over hell. So things will be quiet again until Friday. Thanks so much for stopping by today – I hope you’ll drop by again soon! Have a good one!

Beautiful!
This card is amazing Karolyn. Just beautiful!
BTW, did you ever draw for the Ellen Hutson $50 gift certificate? I have been watching for it but never saw it? Just curious.
Love the water colour strip you did, really gorgeous! The bold black sentiment wit the stripes on the side really makes this am awesome CAS card!
