Today’s project came together so easily! I knew I wanted to pair the larger solid flower images with some of the filler images. I also masked off that center area with some Post-It Tape to leave that area open for the sentiment. Here’s how I created my project:
- Trim a 4.25” x 11” card base from No-Line Coloring Card Stock, score at 5.5”, fold in half and perfect the crease with a Teflon Bone Folder.
- Trim an A2 panel of No-Line Coloring Card Stock. Mask off a space near the center of the panel with some Post-It Tape. Stamp the flowers and leaves from the Plentiful Petals Stamp Set (from the All Smiles Card Kit), using a combination of Peach Bellini Dye Ink, Coral Crush Dye Ink, Sunshine Dye Ink, Summer Splash Dye Ink, Blu Raspberry Dye Ink, Pineapple Dye Ink, and Limelight Dye Ink.
- Die cut the outside edge of the image panel with the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics. Carefully remove the Post-It Tape from the image panel and use the stitched line die from the Blueprints 24 Die-Namics to accent the sentiment area.
- Die cut the Double the Smiles Die-Namic (from the All Smiles Card Kit), three times from Smooth White Card Stock and once from Black Licorice Card Stock. Adhere the layers together with Multi Medium Matte, making sure to place the black die cut on top. Adhere the stacked die cut to the image panel with Multi Medium Matte.
- Adhere the image panel to the card base with foam squares.
- Apply some Clear Wink of Stella to the sentiment die cut, and then apply a coat of Glossy Accents. Allow it to almost fully dry.
- Stamp the sentiment from the All Smiles Stamp Set (from the All Smiles Card Kit) onto a scrap piece of Translucent Vellum using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. Use the Slanted Sentiments Die-Namics (the new Free with $60 Purchase dies) to die cut the sentiment. Carefully place the vellum sentiment over the top of glossy sentiment die cut, and allow it to adhere.
- Adhere some Sparkling Clear Sequins to the image panel using Multi Medium Matte.
That’s it! I feel like these images are so bright and cheery and lend themselves perfectly to creating any style of card design that you like to create! I've listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

Gorgeous card - love every little detail. The colours you chose, the glossy accent on the Smile diecut, and especially the use of vellum for the rest of the sentiment!

This card just makes me smile, Karolyn, seeing all those lovely colored flowers. I like the way you created the vellum sentiment as an overlay for "smile". Nice touch. TFS
