It’s been kind of quiet around these parts this week because I’ve been super busy getting stuff done in anticipation of leaving for Las Vegas for a few days! As this goes live, I’ll be winging my way to Sin City for some fun with my hubby’s extended family! We’re so excited! But I wanted to pop in to share my first project for the brand spankin’ new card kit from My Favorite Things called Snow Globe! Oh my, you’re going to LOVE this kit!
The Snow Globe Card Kit is beyond adorable, and full of awesome products (including that yummy Cherry Wood Card Stock) to help you get started on your holiday card making! I knew when I saw this kit, that I just HAD to make it an interactive card by making the background light up! I added one of the Chibi Lights Effect Stickers to make the background “twinkle” and oh my goodness, I was absolutely tickled at the results! Here’s a quick video of what it looks like when it’s all lit up:
Oh, and those little patches near the LED lights and effects sticker? Those are the new Conductive Fabric Tape Patches, and they are BRILLIANT! My lights weren’t lighting up, but when I added those patches, BINGO – the world lit up! LOL I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.
