My Favorite Things–WSC#352

Hello, friends!!

I’ve been a busy, busy girl this week, but I wanted to pop in and share a project that I created that was inspired by this week’s Wednesday Sketch #352 over at the MFT Challenge Blog!  It’s another good one, I tell ya and it inspired me to create a fun birthday card!  Here’s the sketch:

And here’s how it inspired me:

When I looked at the sketch, and flipped it on it’s side, I saw a balloon for that circle.  And then it occurred to me that it would be fun to create a unique flap opening for the front of the card.  Here’s what it looks like when the flap is opened up:

I wanted the balloon to be the focus of the card, so I masked off the area for the strip, and ink blended some clouds using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.
