Okay, before I get into the project, I want to preface this by saying it didn’t dawn on me that the feathered creatures in this stamp set are ducks . . . not little blue birds. But I was all done coloring them when I realized it. Ugh! So, I decided to go with it, using my “creative license” that I always carry in my wallet! LOL They’re now blue birds!! Anywho, I used a super fun interlocking fold for this card that is really easy to create! I scored my card base at 3.25”, folded there and then scored it at 5.5”. When I folded both ends towards the middle, they meet up perfectly to create an A2 gate fold. I then die cut the Stitched Circle Frames three times – once from Sunshine Card Stock, and twice from Smooth White Card Stock. I adhered the two inside circles (one on the front flap, one on the inside flap) to the largest flap, and adhered the sunshine circle frame and one of the Smooth White circle frames to the upper flap (the sunshine circle frame on the front flap, and a Smooth White circle frame on the inside flap). When you fold them together, the large circles interlock and fold perfectly into the circle frames! I stamped the “blue birds,” sunshine, cloud, puddle and splashes from the Rain or Shine Stamp Set, and colored them with my Copic Markers. I blended a light application of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the inside circle as well as the card front using the new Mini Raindrops Stencil. The sentiment is from the Rain or Shine Stamp Set! I know you’re going to love this set as much as I do! I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below. And here’s a pic of how the card interlocks.
