My Favorite Things- September New Product Launch!

Well hello again!

Print

The time has finally come for you to add all of the September Release products to your cart, before they sell out!  I’m popping in quickly today to share two projects for the New Product, both featuring the Sending Prayers Stamp Set, and the second one featuring the Prayers Die-Namics

My first project turned out to be a happy accident.  I was playing around with some Alcohol Inks and some Heavyweight Yupo paper, and smeared two trios of colors to create what I thought would be a super ethereal sunset oceanscape.  I loved the contrast of the vibrant colors against the white, so I went with it.  I matted the image with some Black Licorice Card Stock, and stamped the sentiment from the Sending Prayers Stamp Set using some Jet Black StazOn (because the Yupo is a synthetic plastic and I didn’t think the Hybrid Ink would work).  I mounted the image onto a Smooth White card base.  And that’s it.  Simple yet bold.

My second project happened again while I was messing with the same trios of alcohol inks (some blues and some yellows/oranges) and smearing the colors onto more Yupo paper.  I ultimately ended up with several panels of color, but these two were my faves.  I again stamped a sentiment from the Sending Prayers Stamp Set with Jet Black StazOn, and adhered the stacked Prayers Die-Namics beneath the sentiment.  The same black mat and the white card base finish up this one.  I can totally see mass producing these cards in pretty short order to make up a really nice card set!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.  And if you’re wondering where to find all of the September Release products, click on the graphic below, and it’ll take you straight to the MFT Online Boutique!

That’s it for me today, friends!!  I’m back in my craft room today catching up on a few more deadlines.  I’ll be back again tomorrow with a project for this week’s sketch challenge!  So I hope you’ll come by soon to check it out!  Have a great day!
