My Favorite Things–Wednesday Sketch #409!

Hello friends!!

MFT_SketchChallenge_2017Logo

I’m super excited to be popping in today to share a project that I created that was inspired by this week’s Wednesday Sketch Challenge!  Now you all know I love a sketch.  It’s a great way to get your mojo moving when you figure out what you want to do once you choose your elements.  But I also see sketches as a “suggestion.”  Many times, I have a hard time sticking to the sketch in a literal way.  I know you’ve seen me go rogue many times before, so it shouldn’t surprise you that I did it again! LOL  Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my rogue interpretation:

So, I “simplified” the sketch a bit by creating the angle with double sided tape and glitter; I also flipped the angle.  Does that stress you out?  LOL I die cut a poinsettia using the Perfect Poinsettia Die-Namics, and adhered it to the Smooth White card base.  The sentiment is stamped using Field Day Hybrid Ink, and is from the new Trio of Trees Stamp Set.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Challenge Blog to be linked to the other more accurate interpretations of this week’s sketch!  While you’re there, we’d love for you to link up your own take – accurate or rogue – to this week’s sketch challenge to be eligible for a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique!  It’s a random draw, so you really have NOTHING to lose, right?!

That’s it for me today, my love!!  I’ll be back soon with more crafty goodness!  Until then, have an awesome day!
