My Favorite Things - Icing on the Cupcake Card Kit Release!

Hello stampy friends!

I'm popping in today to share my first project using the components from this month's Icing on the Cupcake Card Kit!  Oh my word, this kit is AH-MAZING!! My head actually exploded with ideas to create with this kit, and I feel like you all are going to love it as much as I do!

I decided to make what I call an Interlocking Tri-fold Card.  It's super easy to create.  I just scored an 4.25" x 11" Smooth White card base at 3.5" from the left short edge, and then flipped it around to score at 2", so that when I crease the folds, I have an A2 sized card that folds and meets in the middle! Then I die cut two of the Inside & Out Stitched Circle dies four times to create the white center pieces (I die cut it twice from Smooth White) and the Razzle Berry outside circle frames (I die cut it twice from Razzle Berry).  There's actually a lot of die cutting going on with this project! LOL I was able to also make it a shaker card because I die cut the frosting portion of the Cupcake and Sprinkles dies (included in the Kit) from Cotton Candy CS, and also from one of the white centers that I previously created. I die cut the sprinkles on the frosting from Lavender Fields, Razzle Berry and Blu Raspberry and adhered them to the frosting with my glue pen. Then I die cut the cupcake wrapper (again using the Cupcake and Sprinkles dies) from the bold striped paper from the Sweet Stack 6 x 6 Paper Pack!  I adhered the circle frames to the bottom flap of the card with tape runner adhesive. This helped me position the inner pieces.  I added some real spinkles to one of the cupcake pouches (20 are included in the kit) and sealed the two inner pieces to the upper flap. I filmed a video many moons ago showing this technique and you can find it HERE. For the sentiment, I used the FREE with $60 Hey There, Cupcake Die-Namics! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.  Here's a side view of the card to show you how the two flap fit perfectly together!

And I just realized I have no stamping on this project! I'll say it again, this kit is to die for and super fun to play with!  You can purchase it NOW by clicking on the graphic below!!
