My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 2: Spread Your Wings!

Hello friends!

It's another day, and another May Release Countdown project! Today's project features the "Free with $60 Purchase" Spread Your Wings Stamp Set (and there are coordinating dies that can be purchased seperately), and the Punched Pattern Stencil.

Staying true to my usual style, I kept it pretty clean and simple. I used the Punched Pattern Stencil to create a colorful rainbow background that is soft yet grounding. Then I stamped three of the four butterfly images from the Spread Your Wings Stamp Set onto the ink blended background. This demonstrates an easy and fun way to "color" an image without actually coloring it! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.)

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other spectacular projects that my fellow teammates have created using today's May Release featured products! And while you're there, be sure and leave a comment for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! All of the May Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM EDT!

That's it for me today, kids! I'll be back again tomorrow with another countdown project! Until then, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Good Sunday to you, Karolyn -
I love the play between subtle color and b/w. I also am eager to get this butterfly set - love the "spread your wings" sentiment.
You're an excellent crafter. Thanks for sharing your talent!

I really love the simple elegant look of this card..Lots a white space with the right touch of color. No fussy background and the bow wrapped around on the top is a visual added plus...so glad I came across your work..looking forward to seeing more!
