I’m honored and thrilled to be joining the very talented ladies from the Studio Katia Design Team to share a couple of projects that I made using new products from the March 2018 Release!!
So, I fell in LOVE with the the new Spin-Tastic Stamp Set and coordinating dies. My grandsons LOVE fidget spinners, so I knew I’d be playing with these new products. It just so happens that my youngest grandson, Brenner, turns 6 on March 11th, so I KNOW he’s going to love this for his birthday (especially if I include a little cash inside! LOL)
After I created the card I wanted to create a companion treat bag, with the idea that this whole theme would make an awesome party ensemble for girls and boys alike! I envision cupcake toppers, bottle wraps, banners . . . the possibilities are endless and so fun to think about! And super easy to create using the new Spin-Tastic Stamp Set and coordinating dies! I used the decorative frame from the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames Creative Dies to die cut the treat topper, scored it in half, and then used the dome shaped dies from the Square Scallop Creative Dies to do a partial die cut for the handle. I slipped a package of mini fidget spinners that I picked up at the Target Dollar Spot into a treat bag, and adhered the treat topper with mini staples and double sided adhesive. The sentiment on the card was stamped onto the sentiment strip from the Square Scallop Creative Dies. And the image panel was created using the large frame from the Darling Ribbon & Dotted Frames Creative Dies. The large green spinner on the card spins, so I thought it’d be fun to include a quick video of the fidget spinner in action.
