Another fun feature!

Happy Thursday, Peeps!!

Hope this finds you all happy and doing well.  I’m doing pretty good – getting closer and closer to getting my normal crafting schedule back.  Soon!  Very, very soon!!  But I did have a chance to create on Tuesday for a fun little gig that came knocking on my door.

Judy Marino contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if she could feature me on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog as well as her personal blog.  Of course I said YES!!  How sweet is that?!  She was nice enough to arrange to have a Sweet Stamp Shop stamp set sent to me to play with, so of course I had to create a fun little card with it, right?!  I got to play with one of their newly released sets called Happy Hour.  Super fun images that sparked a ton of ideas for me!  I decided to go with a Happy New Years card.  I love bright colors on white with a pop of black.  Simple one layer stamping, a little baker’s twine, some enamel dots and away we go!

CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #45–The Bold & the Beautiful!

 

Happy Friday Peeps!

 

I know, I know . . . it’s been quiet around here.  I’m so sorry – I was doing the Gramma thing for 10 days, and now I’m in Boston with the sweetest girl I know!  The whole time I’ve been away from my crafty goodies, so needless to say, I couldn’t have gotten inky even if I wanted to.  But I’ll be back Monday night, and plan to get my ink on first thing Tuesday morning!!  Stay tuned!!  LOL

In the meantime, I have the next CAS-ual Fridays Challenge to share you with you all!  This week’s challenge:  Create a CLEAN & SIMPLE project using pastels with black.  I loves me some pastels with black, don’t you?!

I was lucky enough to work with a super sweet stamp set called Hello Beautiful!  The images in this set are perfect for sending a sweet card to a friend who needs to be reminded of how beautiful she is – both inside and out!  I randomly stamped the nail polish image with VersaMark on the pastel melon panel.  I highlighted the hearts with a white gel pen.  I love this sentiment – just because I think sometimes people need to be reminded that they are beautiful.  Could this be more to the point?!  I think not!
