Happy Birthday Fairy and an Enabler Alert!!

Good morning, Peeps!!

As promised, here I am with some creative goodies for you - one in the form of a card, and another in the form of a fabulous sale that's going on. So let's get to it, shall we?

Today's card is one I made using one of my most favorite stamps EVER!! My friend, Terri, turned me on to these amazingly sweet fairies, and I've been in love ever since. Fairy With Balloon is just one of many beautiful Stamps Happen stamps that I've received from JanLynn. They have a HUGE selection of deeply etched rubber stamps (as well as a TON of other crafty must-haves such as bags, stitching projects, and tools) that include beautiful colored images on the pine blocks. Just fabulous, I tell ya!! I digress . . . . I colored Fairy With Balloon with my new Lyras and Gamsol - in fact, I colored him on my long road-trip from Arizona to Washington in May. I'm just now getting a chance to create something with him. I'm still trying to improve on my Gamsol Magic technique, based on my intense study (code for cyber stalking) of Paula and Linda. It's coming along, but still not where I want it to be. But I'll keep trying, that's for sure!!

That's it for my first creative goodie . . . now on to the other goodie. Today is the LAST DAY to purchase any clear stamp sets from ABC Toys & Crafts, which are all 15% OFF!! If you like Crafty Secrets, My Cute Stamps, Hero Arts, Inkadinkadoo, Penny Black - the list goes on and on - then you need to check this out!! Oh, and while you're visiting ABC Toys & Crafts, check out the Martha Stewart punches - they, too, are 15% OFF!! Julie carries a fabulous selection of Martha Stewart punches (as well as many other MS products), some of which are very hard to find. Hurry up, before they're all gone!!

I absolutely love this image and the plaids that you have used with it. I would love to figure out how to use colored pencils but I don't think that Gamsol stuff is available here and pretty sure it is a banned item for shipping overseas.hrmph!!!!! Turbentine would work, bet that would smell wonderful

That is a very cute fairy. Nice coloring job, you do such a great job with the copics, why branch away? :) I haven't used my pencils in such a long time . . . need to pull those out again soon. As always, nice and crisp and well done. (I cannot even cut a straight line with my Carl cutter, crooked, crooked, crooked.)
