Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday - S2GSC27 - "Friends"
Hi Peeps!
It's another beautiful day in Shirley's 2 Girls land! We have a fabulous sketch challenge for you today, as well as a super fun twist, so let's get down to business. Shall we?
Here's the sketch for this week, and the twist is to use Raffia or Twine in your design (hey, that rhymes! LOL). Being the rebel that I am, I flipped the sketch. Thank goodness for "creative interpretation." And I don't have any raffia or twine - probably the ONLY thing I don't have in my craft collection. Ugh! So, I just used my Scrapper's Floss on my button - more rebellion!! The image that I got to work with is called "Friends." How freakin' cute are those sweet friends?!! I colored the image with my Copics, but am sooo unhappy with how that turned out. Needless to say, I was coloring at 10:00 p.m. last night, and just decided to go with it. It is what it is. Try not to look too closely at my coloring, okay?!! I had a lot of fun working with this sketch otherwise.
I know you want to play along with us this week - you know you do, too. Well, all you have to do is create a card using this week's sketch (don't forget the twist!), and then click on the blinkie below - that'll take you right to Mr. Linky where you need to upload a link to your project. You'll find all the rules of playing there, too. Oh, and if you want some amazing and instant-gratification digi images - check out the What's New Section at the Shirley's 2 Girls store. Cute stuff, I tell ya!!

Amazing take on the sketch. Your detailing and design are fabulous. This card is rockin'
What a fun card Karolyn. Of course the image is adorable and paired with this paper, WOW..... I so want that paper. I think floss constitutes as Twine!!
Love how you flipped it and that little button on the ribbon is perfection.
adorable card, Karolyn! I wish I could clone your skill in mixing patterns - you always do it so well!
I like the sketch flipped! I really like the different patterns of paper you used too.
