I'm still shaking my head at the thought that it's November already . . . how is it that time flies by so flippin' fast?!! And don't even get me started on how freaked out I am that Christmas is only a few short weeks away. Aaaccckkkk!!!
It'll be a quiet Thanksgiving for us this year. My oldest daughter and her husband will be staying in Washington, and my inlaws will be traveling to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. So it'll just be my youngest daughter, my niece, and maybe my sister and her boyfriend. It'll be weird, but kinda nice, too. We usually have 14-16 for dinner, so I'm kinda looking forward to not having to cook for so many. KWIM? But I will definitely miss having more family here.
Even though there will only be a few of us for dinner, I still wanted to make up some fun little additions to my tablescape to jazz things up a bit. I'll be sharing them with you over the next couple of days. My first Thanksgiving-themed project that I'll be sharing with you is some Wine Glass charms.

Want to know how to make these for your tablescape? Here are some step by step pictures and instructions for you to make your own. Enjoy!!

STEP TWO: Cut out your images using sharp scissors, cutting close to the lines.

STEP SIX: Add a jump ring to the hole in the shrunken image (I purchased mine from Michael's in the jewelry making section). Add various glass beads (I purchased several different colors of beads from Michael's in the bead area) to silver plated wine charm hoops. I purchased a bag of 100 HERE. Using pliers, bend the end of the wire to keep the beads on the hoop.

Please come by tomorrow as I'll have another Christmas card to share with you! Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Girl, you are my Shrinky Dink hero...these are so stinkin' cute! Love the idea, but I am SD challenged because mine never even come out flat. I also find it interesting that you color AFTER you shrink, I have always done it before...now I may have to try this technique again! TFS your darling ideas, my friend~
