CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #45–The Bold & the Beautiful!

Happy Friday Peeps!

I know, I know . . . it’s been quiet around here.  I’m so sorry – I was doing the Gramma thing for 10 days, and now I’m in Boston with the sweetest girl I know!  The whole time I’ve been away from my crafty goodies, so needless to say, I couldn’t have gotten inky even if I wanted to.  But I’ll be back Monday night, and plan to get my ink on first thing Tuesday morning!!  Stay tuned!!  LOL

CFC45 Graphic

In the meantime, I have the next CAS-ual Fridays Challenge to share you with you all!  This week’s challenge:  Create a CLEAN & SIMPLE project using pastels with black.  I loves me some pastels with black, don’t you?!

Sweet Stamp Shop

We have another fabulous sponsor for this week’s challenge – Sweet Stamp Shop.  They’ve got some super sweet images and the owner was kind enough to share some of her lovely product with the Girl Fridays to play with!  They’ve also provided an amazing prize for this week’s TGIF Winner, but you’ll have to click on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog to find out what it is!  Thank you Sweet Stamp Shop!

CFC45 - Bold & Beautiful

I was lucky enough to work with a super sweet stamp set called Hello Beautiful!  The images in this set are perfect for sending a sweet card to a friend who needs to be reminded of how beautiful she is – both inside and out!  I randomly stamped the nail polish image with VersaMark on the pastel melon panel.  I highlighted the hearts with a white gel pen.  I love this sentiment – just because I think sometimes people need to be reminded that they are beautiful.  Could this be more to the point?!  I think not!

STAMPS:  Hello Beautiful (Sweet Stamp Shop), Vintage Labels (A Muse Studio)
INK:  VersaMark and Onyx Black VersaFine (Tsukineko), Grapefruit (A Muse Studio)
PAPER:  White CS (Neenah), Berry Blush, Piglet and Passionate CS (Bazzill Basics Paper)
ACCESSORIES:  True Black Satin Ribbon (PTI), White Gel Pen (Sakura), Stampin’ Dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!), Vintage Labels Die (A Muse Studio)

That’s it for me today, kids!  I hope you’ll pop over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog!!  I know that the other Girl Fridays have some delicious samples to inspire you, AND I believe that there’s a BIG FAT AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT that’s being made by our fearless leader, Michele Gross!!  You SO need to get all the dirt PRONTO – so what are you waiting for?!

Thanks so much for stopping in today!  The time you spend here means the world to me! Have a great weekend!

Beautiful card! I really love what you said about sending it a friend to remind them how beautiful *they* are. That's awesome!! Using the white gel pen to highlight the hearts is so lovely, as well. Really fabulous card.
