Hello!!
OH EM GEE!! I am freaking out at the idea that I get to share a couple of the projects that I created for my Mama Elephant guest designer gig with you today!! Eeeekkk!! I must tell you that I had an amazing time creating with this month’s images, so I can’t wait to share my projects with you! I hope that you’ll see that my love for these images is reflected in my projects. So let’s get to it, shall we?

My first project features Stitches. How amazing is that sentiment? I mean those delicate swirls and stitches are just so sweet, aren’t they? I immediately thought to put the sentiment on an embroidery hoop that I created with my Silhouette Cameo. Once I stamped the sentiment on the white panel, I embossed it with an aida cloth impression plate, to look like actual cross-stitch fabric. Those delicious flowers are from the Water Blooms set. Love!!

My second project features the Lights Out stamp set. I am absolutely obsessed with light bulb images, so when these yummies showed up in my mailbox, I let out a squeal of delight!! And the sentiments in this set are beyond perfect for the theme of the set. I decided to sort of animate my light bulb focal image by adding a grad cap that I created with my Silhouette. I embossed some sun rays on the main panel for effect and created a little baker’s twine tassel. How fun would it be to give this to your favorite graduate?
I’ve listed the products that I used on both of these projects below. I’ll be back in a few days to share two more Mama Elephant projects with you! In the meantime, I hope you enjoy what I’ve shared today. Thanks so much for stopping by – it means the world to me that you’ve taken time out of your day to visit!

Using the light bulb for the grad card is absolutely the most "brilliant" idea ever! So perfect for those hard to make grad cards for guys!
