Well, hello!!
Long time, no blog! LOL Lots of busy-ness going on at the Loncon household, so I hope you all understand. But I have a project to share that was inspired by the latest Runway Inspired Challenge!
Isn’t that dress amazing?!! I so love the classic lines, with those gorgeous pops of color off that stylish navy blue. And then that graphic wood grain – be still my heart! Here’s my answer to the challenge!
So, I was inspired by the color palette as well as the woodgrain. I trimmed out a base and stamped the sentiment. I then trimmed a navy panel and stamped the woodgrain in VersaMark. I adhered it to the base with foam tape. I then die cut the spray of roses from navy, fuchsia, pink and white and inlaid the pieces together. Once assembled, I adhered it to the card base with foam tape. The enamel dots were added afterwards. I love the way that spray of roses just pops right off that navy and white!! I’ve listed the products I used below.
We’d love to see how the Runway fashion would inspire you!! If you click on through to the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog, you’ll find some amazing projects created by my sweet teammates to further inspire you, as well as the linky tool for you to link up YOUR answer to the challenge! This challenge is being sponsored by Ellen Hutson, and there’s a gift certificate up for grabs for the winning project! Your projects for this challenge are due by Friday, August 29th at 11:59pm ET!
That’s all for me today, friends! I’m hoping to get some crafty time in my stamp room as I have some Stretch Your Stamps homework that I need to catch up on! Thanks so much for stopping by!
