Hiya!!
Today’s the day that I get to share the project that I created using the new Be Jolly stamp set and coordinating dies. I am in love with this stamp set for many reasons – it’s stinkin’ cute for one, but it was also illustrated by my sweet friend, Heather Campbell. So this little guy holds a special place in my heart, for sure.
I stamped that sweet snowman onto some watercolor paper in a light blue waterproof ink and watercolored him using some distress inks. I paper pieced his hat and scarf and colored his arms and face with markers. For the base, I watercolored an ombre blue background onto the smooth side of some watercolor paper, again using distress inks, stamped the stars from the stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed them with Silver Pearl embossing powder. I die cut those snow slopes using the the Custom Panels Dies, and then added a strip of glue and adhered some yummy glitter. I assembled the card with foam tape. The sentiment was stamped using Sapphire ink. Isn’t he he so adorable?!! I hope you'll click on through to the Avery Elle Design Team Blog to see what my sweet teammate, Katie, has created for you!
Okay, friends – I’m headed to Temecula, CA for the weekend with my Wino Women! LOL I’m excited for a full weekend of wine, pool time, sunshine, shopping, eating good food, and lots and lots of laughing! I hope you have some great plans for your weekend, too!!
