25 Days of Christmas Tags!!

GIVEAWAY ALERT – PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST FOR THE DETAILS ON MY GIVEWAY!!
Hello stampy friends!!

25 Days of Christmas Graphic

The sweet Tracey McNeely invited me to play along with her 25 Days of Christmas Tags feature that she has had on her blog the last several years!  Of course I said yes – 100 times YES!!  Tracey is a doll and an incredibly talented designer, and she has gathered together some amazing peeps and teams to participate in this gig, so to say that I was humbled to be included is an understatement.  What a fun idea, right?!!  Tracey has also tapped some of the most fun and generous companies to sponsor her event, so you can imagine she’s got some AWESOME prizes.  The sponsors are:

I was so excited to play along that I created TWO tags and had ideas for a million others!  Sadly, I only have so many hours in the day, so I’ll have to save those other million minus two ideas for another day.  LOL

Karolyn Loncon 25 Days of Christmas Tags

My first tag was super fun to create.  I die cut the stitched tag (Anytime Tags – Lil Inker Designs) from White Linen CS.  I die cut the stacked packages (Pile of Gifts Die – Simon Says Stamp) and layered some yummy colored vellum behind the negative spaces of the die cut.  I stamped the sentiment (No Peeking – Mama Elephant) with VersaMark and heat embossed with Red EP (Ranger).

Karolyn Loncon 25 Days of Christmas Tags Back (1)

Here’s the back of the tag!  I used another new die to cut the gift card grooves (Gift Card Grooves Die – My Favorite Things) on the back of the tag – perfect for adding a gift card for someone special and hanging it on the tree!

Karolyn Loncon 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2

My second project was tedious to create, but the end result made me so happy that it was worth all the effort!  This one features a die (Woodland Snowlady – Cottage Cutz)that I picked up at the CKC in Seattle earlier this month.  I thought she was so stinkin cute!  The tag base was die cut (Stitched Duo 1 Die (Pretty Pink Posh) and stamped with the Snowfall Background stamp from My Favorite Things.  I die cut the snow drifts (Stitched Snowdrifts – My Favorite Things).  Isn’t she too cute for words?  I’ll for sure be adding her to a special Christmas gift this year.  I’ve listed all of the products that I used on these projects below.

Tracey has created a Flickr Group for you to play along with her – you can find it HERE.  And you’ll find some amazing inspiration as well as other details about the prizes she is giving away on her blog!!  She has also created some Pinterest boards from years past (2011, 2012, and 2013) that will blow your mind!

GIVEAWAY!
25 Days of Christmas Giveaway

I have decided to give away a little blog candy of my own, because I am so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you – my blog readers – and I love sharing what I love with others!!  I have three stamp sets that I’d love to give away to one lucky winner who comments on this blog post and shares with me what they hope Santa brings them for Christmas this year!  The contest will close at 12:01 AM (Pacific Daylight Time) on , November 30, 2014.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I’ll be back with a super fun project that I created for another Guest Design Gig that I was blessed with recently.  I hope you’ll come back to see it!  Have a great day!

Are you kidding me?! Your tags are lovely gifts in themselves. Too darn adorable! Santa had better have a Vagabond for me in that sack of his. Love your website and your great work. Thanks for sharing!

The gift box tag is darling. The different colors are so pretty.
Love the snowman. He is cute.
thanks for sharing three great tags.
I'm at the age where I don't really need anything. If I want something I go buy it. I guess my best gift would be if the kids would get together at Christmas and be "friends". they are so different and don't often see eye-to-eye.
thanks for a chance to win some cute stamps - winning could be my Christmas wish

Your tags are breath-taken away, jaw-dropped AWESOME! The little stack of gifts, using coloured vellum, is sheer delight and makes a wonderful 'container' for your gift card. Your second tag: oh my! Your snowgirl is adorable! Two mini works of art with maximum impact!

This year I am thinking of myself but in a way that is different to most other years. I seek a heart transformation that gives me a desire to serve others not to seek reward but to reflect the love of Christ who dwells in me. Although a professing believer for many years it is only recently that I have really seen the truth of what it is to serve so this is my Christmas wish this year

Both of those tags are just so darn cute, but I love that snowpeep with the wreath of evergreens & cardinals on her head. I really don't need anything from Santa....just a healthy healing to my new hip so it will grow nice and strong. Craft supplies will never be turned down, however.
