Exciting Announcement!

Hello Friends!!

I have a little secret that I’ve been keeping for several weeks now and today is the day that I finally get to share it with you all!  I’m beyond excited to announce that I’m joining the My Favorite Things design team as a Contributing Designer.  THIS, my friends, is my dream gig!!  I’ll be sharing My Favorite Things goodness throughout each month, and I can’t wait to get started.   Oh, and there are some other amazingly talented peeps joining the team, too.  You can find the official announcement HERE.

To say that I am thrilled to little bits is the understatement of the century!  In honor of this spectacular occasion, I created two projects to share with you all today!

4-27-15 You Color My World B&W

Okay, so when I saw the Stay Tuned Stamp Set  and the Television Die-Namics (that Laina Lamb is a genius, isn’t she?), I knew I wanted to try one of those Magic Slider cards.  Here’s what it looks like with that little acetate arrow pulled up:

4-27-15 You Color My World Color

Isn’t that so fun?!!  The engineering of this is UBER easy when you have the right dies!  I used the Gift Card Grooves Die-Namics to create a slot behind the television so that the gray and colorful panel could slide up and down with ease.  I’m happy to share any additional details with you if you’re interested – just leave me a comment here and I’ll get you the exact measurements.  Here’s a list of the products that I used:

I created another project using the Tweet On You Stamp Set and coordinating Die-Namics.  Oh my goodness, those sweet birdies are too cute for words, right?

4-27-15 Tweet On You

I’ve listed the rest of the products that I used below.

I’d like to thank the sweet folks at My Favorite Things for extending this amazing opportunity to me.  I’m a HUGE fan of the MFT product lines, and will do my level best to share that love with you all in a way that hopefully inspires you all to give their products a try!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back to share more goodness with you all very soon!

Hello from Florida! I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon your cute greeting card via the Dating Divas website! I see the post was from 2015, but I am really hoping that you might still share the exact card dimensions for your "stay tuned" magic-slider card with me - please?!?! My email is gal.hjc@gmail.com. I would love to try and do it myself for my hubby :-) Thank you in advance for considering my request.
