My Favorite Things New Product Launch–Time to Shop!

Oh my goodness!  I’m so excited for my very first New Product Launch as a member of the My Favorite Things Team!!  And, seriously, I’m not kidding when I tell you that this month’s release is AH-MAZE!!!  You can find all of the new products by clicking on the widget below:

Okay, so let’s get to my project, shall we?

I couldn’t wait to play with those freakin’ adorable flamingos that were designed by Laina Lamb!  That girl is a creative genius, I tell ya!!!  When we lived in Florida, many, many moons ago, flamingos were a very common sight.  So, I’m just really drawn to these amazing creatures.  I was inspired by the sentiment in the Tickled Pink stamp set, also designed by Laina to coordinate with the Flamingos Die-Namics.  I stamped the new Myriad Dot Background using VersaMark onto some Sno Cone cardstock, and then I trimmed out the image panel using one of the dies from Blueprints 23.  The flamingos were die cut using the Flamingos Die-Namics out of Smooth White cardstock, Ripe Raspberry cardstock, and Lemon Drop cardstock.  The sentiment from Tickled Pink was stamped in VersaMark onto the Smooth White card base, and then heat embossed with embossing powder.  I’ve listed the products that I used below.
