Avery Elle–Peonies!

Hola friends!!

I’m back today to share a project that I created for another of the latest Avery Elle products!!  This one features the new Peonies Stamp Set (which also has coordinating dies!!)

8-7-15-Peonies-2

My sweet friend, Heather Campbell, illustrated the beautiful images contained in this amazing stamp set!!  Isn’t it pretty?!!  Here’s how I created my project:

  1. Arrange and stamp the flowers and leaves from the Peonies Stamp Set onto a Silver Fox note card (from the Midnight Note Card Collection) using White Pigment Ink.  Heat emboss the images with white embossing powder.  (I created masks for the flowers and leaves, and used the masks when stamping the leaves in order to give the impression that they are behind the flowers.)  Color the flowers and leaves with Copic Markers, being careful to avoid the embossed edges.  Outline the stamped image with a Warm Grey Copic Marker to give it dimension.  NOTE:  If you accidentally color on top of the embossed lines, use a white gel pen to repair the lines.
  2. Stamp the sentiment from the Peonies Stamp Set in Onyx Black Pigment Ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
  3. Using the Pierced Rectangles Elle-Ments, emboss the smaller pierced rectangle around the stamped image, and the larger pierced rectangle around the perimeter of the card base.

This is a super easy way to showcase a stamped image!!  I’ve listed the products I used below.  I hope you’ll click on through to the Avery Elle Design Blog for some additional inspiration!!

That’s it for me today, friends!!  I’m hoping to spend some time in my craft room this weekend after my daughter and son-in-law head back to Portland!!  I hope you have lovely plans in store for your weekend!!  Thanks so  much for stopping by today – I really, really appreciate it!

So pretty! I love the soft edges of the flower and the leaves. Nice detail with the pierced borders.
