My Favorite Things–June Card Kit Day 2!

Print

Hello!

Today is the day that some of the My Favorite Things Design Team members are sharing projects featuring the Make A Wish Card Kit in an “outside the box” way!  So we’re pairing some of the items from the kit with other My Favorite Things products that aren’t included in the kit!  The Make A Wish Card Kit will be available in the My Favorite Things Online Boutique on June 21st at 10:00 PM EST!

This kit made my mind explode with ideas!!  I’ll be sharing two of them here with you today!!

My first card pairs the stamps and dies from the Make A Wish Card Kit with a stitched rectangle die from Blueprints 15 and the scalloped vellum panel from Blueprints 20.  Thanks to my Mini MISTI, stamping the candle images over and over using different colors of Pigment Ink is a breeze!!  All of the products that I used on this card are listed below.

My second project was inspired by a project that Jennifer McGuire shared HERE.  I wanted to give the spotlight stamping technique a try, so the Make A Wish Card Kit was perfect for it!  Again, I paired the Make A Wish stamps and dies, along with the Birthday Blowout 6 x6 Paper Pad (also included in the Make A Wish Card Kit), with a Stitched Mini Scallop Square Die-Namic for the image panel.  I die cut the candles from several different patterned papers and did some ink blending on the flames.  A little bit of Clear Wink of Stella and some Glossy Accents finish those flames off.  Again, the products that I used on this project are listed below.

That’s it for me!  Please click on through to the My Favorite Things Design Blog to be linked to the other “out of the box” projects that my sweet teamies have created for your inspiration!  Those ladies are going to knock your socks off – I promise you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  It sure makes my day when you do!!  I’ll be back tomorrow with more Make A Wish fun!!  Until then, I hope you have a great day!
