My Favorite Things–Countdown Day 3!

Hello Again!!

Print

We’re only 3 days away from the My Favorite Things July Release!!  Aaackkkk!!  Are you having as much fun previewing all of the new products as I am?  Today, I’m sharing a project that features the new Happy Birthday Circle Frame Die-Namic!  I also used the new Rainbow Maze Shapes!!

I wanted to make this a multi-action interactive card.  So, not only does it have that fun maze in the center of the Flower Shaker (using the Flower Shaker Die-Namics and a Circle Shaker Pouch), but I also made it a flop card, using the Circle Flop Card Die-Namics!  Here’s what it looks like when you open the card!

How fun is that?  When you open up the card, the sentiment from the You’re A-Mazing Stamp Set (stamped in Black Licorice Hybrid Ink) is revealed!  I did some ink blending onto the Happy Birthday Circle Frame (die cut from some Smooth White Card Stock) using Picked Raspberry, Mermaid Lagoon, and Mustard Seed Distress Inks.  I adhered it to the Flower Shaker die cut (die cut from Black Licorice Card Stock).  I adhered the yellow Rainbow Maze Shape to the Circle Flop card base using some Multi Medium Matte, and slipped a 2 mm black glass no-hole bead that I had in my stash into the maze.  I then adhered the assembled flower over the top of the Rainbow Maze Shape with some double-sided adhesive.  I blended some Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks onto some Smooth White Card Stock and die cut the leaves using the Flower Shaker Die-Namics.  I added a strip of black and white striped paper from the Dots & Stripes Neutral 6 x 6 Paper Pack. Seriously, can you imagine the delight of the recipient when they open up this multi-action interactive card?!! So fun!!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other Countdown Day 3 projects that my sweet teammates have created for your inspiration!  I know you’ll be A-Mazed (get it?!!  LOL)  I’ll be back again soon with another countdown project, so I hope you’ll come by again then!  Hope you’re having a great weekend – I know I am!
