My Favorite Things–Countdown Day 2

Hey there!

Print

The products that the team is sharing today for Countdown Day 2 of the August Release are suuuuuper fun!!  I created a funky, no stamping project featuring the Mod Square STAX Die-Namics and the Mod Rectangle STAX Die-Namics!

KKL_AUG0617-CD-Day-2

Fun, right?!!  And really easy to create!  Here’s how I did it!

  1. Trim a 4.25” x 11” card base from Smooth White Card StockScore at 5.5”, fold in half and perfect the crease with a Teflon Bone Folder.
  2. Trim a 4.25” x 5.5” panel of black and white striped pattern paper (from the Black & White 6 x 6 Paper Pack), and adhere it to the front of the card base.
  3. Trim a 4.25” x 5.5” panel from Smooth White Card Stock.  Die cut the outside edge with the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 24 Die-Namics.  Adhere it to the card base with foam squares.
  4. Die cut squares and rectangles, using the Mod Square STAX Die-Namics and the Mod Rectangle STAX Die-Namics from Summer Splash Card Stock, Ripe Raspberry Card Stock, Orange Zest Card Stock, Sunshine Card Stock, Limelight Card Stock, and Periwinkle Card Stock.  Arrange and adhere them to the image panel with foam squares.
  5. Die cut the sentiment three times from Smooth White Card Stock, and once from Black Licorice Card Stock, using the Celebrate Die-Namic.  Adhere the layers together with Multi Medium Matte, making sure to place the black die cut on the top layer.  Adhere the sentiment to the image panel using foam squares.
  6. Adhere Sparkling Clear Sequins to the image panel using Multi Medium Matte.

Easy peasy!!  A super fun and graphic design, and no stamping!  Woot!  LOL  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other Countdown Day 2 projects that my teammates have create for your inspiration!  And remember, all of the new August Release products will be available on Tuesday, August 8th at 9:00 PM EDT!  Oh, and while you’re over at the blog, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 voucher from My Favorite Things!

That’s it for me today, my loves!  I’ll be back tomorrow with one more Countdown project!  Thanks so much for hanging out with me here for a bit – I hope you’ll come back tomorrow!  Have a great day!
