My Favorite Things - September Release with MFT & Friends!!

Hello again!

The day has finally arrived for you to purchase all of the amazing September Release products!  But before you go shopping, I have one more project to share with you, featuring the Floral Focus Stamp Set, the coordinating Floral Focus Die-Namics (used in an unexpected way), and the Mini Hello Die-Namics.

So, before I stamped the Floral Focus Stamp onto my image panel, I used the coordinating Floral Focus Die to emboss the image.  It's super easy to do, and leaves beautiful dimension and interest to the design.  The coordinating die for the Floral Focus Stamp is a solid die, which lends itself perfectly to this cool technique.  I just placed an A2 watercolor panel onto a rubber embossing mat (with the smooth side of the watercolor panel face down), then I placed the die with the flat side down, and placed a cutting pad on top of that and ran it through my die cutting machine.  I flipped the panel over, positioned the flower image from the Floral Focus Stamp Set over the embossed area (I offset both the die and the stamp from the edge of the panel), stamped it onto the panel using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I faux water-colored the image using Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint Distress Inks to color the image.  I die cut the Mini Hello Die-Namics, first from vellum (using the shadow die from the set), and then from Limelight Card Stock.  I adhered the two together with liquid glue.  I stamped the word Beautiful (after a bit of stamp surgery) from the Essential Sentiments Stamp Set onto some Tickled Pink Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I die cut the sentiment using the Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips and adhered it to the image panel.  I adhered the assembled Hello die cut onto the sentiment strip, and adhered the entire image panel to a Tickled Pink card base.  I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and done!  Here's a closeup of that amazing dimension that you get using that solid die embossing technique.

I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other spectacular projects that my teammates and some of our friends have created for you that feature products from this month's release!  And while you're there, be sure and leave some love along the way to be eligible to win one of TWO $100 Gift Vouchers to the MFT Online Boutique!  You can't win if you don't comment!  ALL of the September release products are available for purchase now and can be found by clicking on the graphic below!
