Hello again!
I'm back again today with another October Release Countdown project! Today's project features the new Sun-Lovin' Santa Stamp Set and coordinating dies. It also features the new Snowy Scene Builder Die-Namics and the Snowfall-Vertical Stencil (which will be featured later on this week!).
Okay, I'm so excited to share this project with you! I love a lighted card! But I hate all of the work involved in lighting a card! But some very smart people have created a mechanism that make lighting cards a piece of cake - and that's truly an understatement compared to how tedious it used to be! If you'd like to know more about how I lit this card up, please leave me a comment below and I'll be happy to share that information! Anywho, here's what the card looks like when you press on that little bundle of packages in the snow!
It's definitely more subtle in a photograph, but in real life - OH EM GEE!! The Volkswagen van, bundles of gifts, and the sentiment are all from the Sun-Lovin' Santa Stamp Set, and the scene was created using the Snowy Scene Builder Die-Namics (I just trimmed the sides of the snow banks to fit a vertical oriented card). The snow was added to the sky by using the Snowfall-Vertical Stencil and some texture paste. I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release!)
Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other outstanding projects that my teammates have created for you! And while you're there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! All of the October Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at EDT!
That's it for me today, friends! I'll be back again tomorrow with another countdown project for you, so I sure hope you'll come back to check it out! Have a great day!

Karolyn - Absolutely love your card and would be super excited to see a video on the creation of your awesome card!!
Wonderful card! Great job.
Karolyn, I'm very interested in knowing how you made your card light up. If there is a new and easy way, I'd like to see/hear it!
Super cute my little flamingo!! I just love the new way to do light-up cards now. Super easy like you said.
This is a great card. I would love to know how to make it light up. Thanks for the inspiration.
Absolutely adorable! Yes please share the lighting info!
What a cute and innovative card! I would love to know how you made the van light up!
Love this beautiful peaceful scene. We don't see much snow here in Texas (not complaining -- we don't handle it well) and I love that sparkly snow background.
The card was so full of holiday cheer, but when you lit it, the card came "alive". Great job.
Am easier way to make cards light up? Please do tell!
