Splitcoast Stampers Love Fest 2014 Challenges!
Happy Sunday, friends!
Popping in quickly to share a card I made for the Splitcoast Stampers Member Company Love Fest Challenges! The Paper Smooches challenge went live this morning – the challenge is to create either a “Fun & Cute” or “Classy & Elegant” project, using Paper Smooches stamps! Here’s my answer to the challenge:
Clearly, I chose to go down the Classy & Elegant path. I used the rose image from Pretty Mama, masked and stamped it off in VersaMark, heat embossed with white EP, and water colored the images. I stamped the sentiment from Many Thanks in VersaMark and heat embossed it with Queens Gold embossing powder. I’ve listed all products used below.
Wanna play along with us? You'll have until Monday, March 3rd at noon Central to share your challenge entries. Each of the Splitcoast Stamper Member Companies will have a prize to award, and at the end of the event, there will be great prizes to award to 10 of our fabulous Challenge Queens who have completed all 11 event challenges. Cool, huh?
Upload your creations (they don't have to be cards!) to your Member Gallery and use today's keyword (LOVEFEST2014J) to play along.
We can't wait to see what you do! :)
Thanks for stopping by today. I so appreciate it when you do! Have a great day!

Have A Super Day!
Happy Monday, sweet friends!!
Sorry for being MIA lately – I don’t know what’s happening with my life, but I seem to constantly be playing catch-up. I’m behind in my blog reader by over 2,000 posts, and that stresses me out like nobody’s business. How do you keep your head above water? I’d love any and all suggestions, because right now, I’m just not cutting it. Any ideas?!
Thought I’d pop in quickly to share one of the samples that I created for the Paper Smooches July New Release! This one features the new set called Super. It’s loaded with some trendy and fun super hero images and sentiments that really apply to all occasions! I created the colorful buildings using an EK Success Plaid Border Punch that I had in my stash. Once I trimmed them out, they totally reminded me of big tall city buildings – right?! The flying super hero and the sentiment are from the Super set, and the street is from the Metropolis set.
Oh, and did I mention to you that Paper Smooches is now one of the newest Member Companies over at Splitcoast Stampers? It’s such a fun place to hang out and is loaded with great inspiration and fun stamp talk. You should totally click on through to check it out! You can find the Paper Smooches Splitcoast Forum HERE. Be sure to stop by and say hello!!
That’s it for me today, friends. I need to get a bit of crafting done before my youngest grandson comes to stay for a few days. Can’t wait to get some Gamma cuddles in soon!! Have a great day, and thanks so much for stopping by today!

P.S. I Love You!
Happy Tuesday, Friends!
I had a chance to get some crafting done last night, and I wanted to share with you one of the projects that I created. I love the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge – it’s one of my faves, so I was glad to have some time to actually play along this week. This week’s challenge is a color challenge – Black, White and Red.
I adore my Silhouette – I think I’ve mentioned it a time or two . . . haven’t really played with her since we arrived here in WA. I recently purchased some really fun designs from the Silhouette Studio, and one of them was just begging to be used on today’s card. I love the clean and graphic feel of the end result of this. And it was super easy to make!
So, before I go, did you notice that I made some changes around here? Yep, I got myself a brand spankin’ new blog header, sidebar buttons, siggie and watermarks!! All thanks to the uber talented Karen Baker of The Bald Dragonfly. I adore the clean and graphic lines and the striking color palette, don’t’ you?! Karen was an absolute dream to work with, so if you’re in the market for a new blog design, I can recommend her without hesitation!! Thank you, Karen, for making this my happy place!! LOL
That’s it for me today, kids! Thanks so much for stopping by – your sweet comments melt up my heart! I’ll be back soon!!
