My Favorite Things - June Release Countdown Day 2 - Almost There!

Hola friends!

We're almost ready for the June release, but we've got a few more days of sneak peeks for you! I'm super excited to share with you the Baby Shark Die-Namics, which I'm sure you've already seen some super darling projects using these dies! But I wanted to share with you two projects that would be awesome for a shark-themed birthday party, or even a Baby Shark themed baby shower! I so love using my dies to create something other than a card!

I die cut two sharks from Blueberry, Blue Yonder, Poppy and Smooth White card stock, using the Baby Shark Die-Namics.  I used two patterned papers from the new Fun In the Sun 6 x 6 Paper Pack as my backgrounds, because I thought they both were fun representations of water. The Paper Bag Die-Namics worked beautifully to die cut some Heavyweight Translucent Vellum, and I adhered the patterned paper on the front and back. I filled the little bag with two different shades of jelly beans and tied some red and white baker's twine on the handle as a simple embellishment. Here's a closer look.

For the second one, I adhered the patterned paper to a Smooth White Panel, and I die cut it using the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics.  I filled a Gusseted Treat Bag with some kraft shred, and a few shark-themed party favors, folded over the top, and secured the Treat Bag Topper to the bag with some double-sided tape and some mini staples. I again embellished the favor bag with red and white baker's twine. Check out this cuteness!

Hello loves!

As promised yesterday, I'm back again today with another fun project featuring more of the January Release products that will be available for purchase on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 10:00 AM EST!  Today's project, unlike yesterday, absolutely involves calories!  But they are the CUTEST calories ever, so they don't count, right?! My project features the new Sweetie Pie Die-Namics, Sweet As Pie Die-Namics, and the Trendy Tag Die-Namics to create this super sweet valentine gift!  I talked my bestie over at Fresh Cut Flours to make up some her world famous cookies for me, and she knocked them out of the freakin' park!  Check it out!

I mean, seriously!!  Have you ever seen anything cuter?!! The Sweet As Pie, Sweetie Pie and Trendy Tag Die-Namics worked well to create a tag for my valentine treats!  And the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics and the Stitched Ric Rac only added to the sweetness of this project!  Here's a close up shot of the tag:

Big thank you to my amazing friend, Fresh Cut Flours for dropping everything to make these cookies for me!  I know that the lucky recipient of this gift will be thrilled to little bits! My Favorite Things - Another Day of November Release Sneak Peeks - Countdown Day 3!!

Hello everyone!

I'm back again today with another November Release Sneak Peek project for Countdown Day 3!!  Today's project features the new Doctor's Orders Stamp Set and coordinating Die-Namics.  This set is one of several new Birdie Brown stamp sets being released this month!!  The Doctor's Orders Stamp Set inspired me to make a get well kit, using the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics!

It's cold and flu season, people!  Having a few of these made up for those friends  that come down with the crud this year is my goal to being prepared!  Another fun idea for this would be to make a sick day kit - games and stickers and quiet time activities for littles when they're sick.  The Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics are the perfect stage for that adorable little doctor and sentiment from the Doctor's Orders Stamp Set, don't you think?!!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the new release product links won't be live until the release!)

My Favorite Things–Treat Bag Topper Kit Release!

It’s me again!!

I’m back today to share two final projects for this month’s kit, which is the Treat Bag Topper Kit!  I really had so much fun with this kit, and can’t wait for you all to get yours! But before you go shopping, stick around for just a minute or two to check out my last two projects – I even made a process video for my first project that I’ve linked below.

I was inspired by all of the sleepy eyes unicorns that I see around these days.  I thought it’d be so fun to turn the Cottontail Cutie into a sleepy eyes bunny, floral crown and all!  I give step-by step instructions for how I made this in the video that I created for the MFT YouTube Channel (if you click on the YouTube link and leave a comment, you have the chance to win a $20 Gift Voucher!)  Oh, and those cutie patootie mini cookies inside the gusseted treat bag? Those were made by my BRILLIANTLY talented friend, Terri from Fresh Cut Flours!  If you’re ever in the market for amazing sugar cookies, I can recommend her without hesitation – and it’s not just because she’s my bestie! How fun would this treat bag be for a hostess gift if you’re going somewhere for Easter Dinner?

My second project also has an Easter theme, and it’s paired with the Easter Bunnies Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  I thought the sentiment was perfect for the chocolate bunny ears that I picked up at the grocery store.  Those Easter candy aisles are soooo hard to resist!  I’ve listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used for both projects below!

My Favorite Things–Treat Bag Topper Kit Day 2!

Hello again!!

I’m back today to share two more projects for this month’s Treat Bag Topper Kit! I’m having a blast creating different bags for different occasions because this kit is so stinkin’ versatile!  All you have to do is add your own stamps and dies from your stash to create an awesome gift or treat bag!

My first project features the shark image from the Beach Buddies Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  I die cut the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics from some Summer Splash Card Stock and some Blueberry Card Stock.  I used the Ocean Waves Die-Namics to die cut the two flaps from the Blueberry topper die cut, and I adhered them onto the Summer Splash die cut with foam squares.  I stamped the shark image from the Beach Buds Stamp Set onto some Cement Gray Card Stock with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, heat embossed him with white embossing powder, and then die cut him out with the coordinating Beach Buds Die-Namics.  I adhered him between the waves with a thin foam square.  I stamped the sentiment from the Beach Buds Stamp Set onto the waves with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I tied some blue baker’s twine to the handle for a final finishing touch.  I filled the bag with three colors of Jelly Bellies and some gold fish crackers, and thought this would be fun for a shark-themed birthday party or an old fashioned movie night where you show the original “Jaws” movie! Or how about a favor for a Shark Week party?!

My second project was designed with Teacher Appreciation Week in mind.  If you have students in your house, you know how important it is to show those teachers how much you and your kids appreciate them!  I die cut the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics from some Poppy Card Stock.  I stamped the super hero cat image from the Super Cat Stamp Set onto some copic friendly white card stock using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, colored her in with my Copic markers, and die cut her using the coordinating Super Cat Die-Namics.  I stamped the cityscape image and the sentiment from the You’re Super Stamp Set onto the topper die cut using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I stamped the word “teacher” from the Soda Pop Stamp Set using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered the super hero cat to the treat topper with foam squares, and tied on some blue baker’s twine as a finishing touch.  I filled the bag with a sweet fill-in-the-blanks book that your student can write in to tell their teacher how much he or she means to your child (I found the book at Paper Source.)
