CAS(E) This Sketch #14–Reach for the Sky!

Hola Chicas!

CTS14 Graphic

I’m popping in to share this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch and my sample.  I had so much fun with this one.  I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I saw this sketch!

CTS14 - Reach for the Sky

What do you think?  Do you see the elements of the sketch in my card?  The sun is a brand new die from Memory Box called Small Circle Burst Die.  Isn’t it so cool?!!  I’ve listed the rest of the supplies I used below.

STAMPS:  Up Up & Away and Up Up & Away Sentiments (PTI)
PAPER:  Blue Raspberry CS (French Poptone), Summer Sunrise (PTI),
White Linen CS (Essentials By Ellen Hutson), Vellum CS (Stampin’ Up!)
INK:
Unicorn Pigment Ink (Memories/HA), Pool Pigment Ink (Fresh Ink)
OTHER:  Up Up & Away Die (PTI), Cloud Border Die (The Cat’s Pajamas),
Small Circle Burst Die (Memory Box), Cantaloupe Marker (Memento)

I hope you’ll click on through to the CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge Blog to check out the amazingly gorgeous samples that the rest of my teammates have created for this week’s sketch – while you’re there, be sure and link up your answer to the challenge!  We’d love to see what you come up with!!

Well, kids . . . that’s it for me today!  I’ve got a few creative things I need to get taken care of, and then I’m spending the evening with my sisters.  I get to snuggle with my love bugs all day tomorrow – can’t wait for that!  Hope you have some excellent plans in store for your weekend!  Thanks for stopping in!

I keep putting that die in my basket and then taking it back out again - now I TOTALLY regret it - I LOVE what you have done with the die and the sketch!

Oh, Karoly, I so want that Circle Burst die!! I love how you've used it here especially with just the two colours on the card. And thanks for reminding me about that PTI set - it's one of those I wanted so badly and now is collecting dust! I must pull it out and give it some love. :) Have a wonderful weekend!

Love it to pieces! I had this die on my last order and then changed my mind....bad move cuz it looks amazing! Plus, it looks like it cuts nice & clean. The vellum clouds look so pretty on this cool color combo :)

Oh my gosh!! Your card is amazing! How did you get the vellum clouds to stick to your card? This is just such a bright, beautiful card! I would much rather look at your card all day than the dismally gray weather outside my window!
Have fun with your sisters tonight, and enjoy your snuggle buddies tomorrow!!! They are so stinkin' cute!
