AEI♥U Challenge #31–Metallics!

Hello, sweet friends!!!

We had such a great time on our cruise – but man, am I glad to be home!  LOL  I’m popping in today to share my project for the next AEI♥U Challenge!

Challenge 31

Challenge-31---Metallics

Metallics are all the rage these days – and I am a huge fan!  I really wanted to stay clean and simple, and allow the metallic to be the star of the show!  So I die cut an image panel using the Double Pierced Rectangle Elle-Ments.  I die cut the snowflake from silver foil card stock using the Noel Elle-Ments.  I cut it three more times from white card stock and adhered the layers together with Multi Matte Medium, making sure that the silver foil snowflake is on the top.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Florals Stamp Set onto the image panel using VersaMark and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.  Oh, and that cute little heart in the center was die cut using the Sweet Scallops Elle-Ments.  Easy peasy, lemon squeezie!

We’d love to have you play along with us!  Please click on through to the AEI♥U Challenge Blog to see the other amazing projects that my brilliantly talented teammates have created for your inspiration!  I know you’re going to be blown away!  And while you’re there, be sure and link up your metallic project to the linky tool!  Two winners will receive an Avery Elle $25 Gift Certificate – I’d love for you to be one of those winners!!  You have until December 26th to play along!!

That’s it for me today!!!  I’ll be lounging around the house today trying to get caught up on my life and recover from our weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by – I hope you have a great day!!

Love your card, it is so beautiful with the snowflake as the main element, and the colour combo is great :))

Great to hear that you had a nice holiday! Snow is falling (nice & light...for now!) as I type my comment. Love the great detail on this flake and how perfectly it cuts! Fab contrast with the red background :)
