My Favorite Things - Icing on the Cupcake Card Kit Inspiration!

Hello again!

I'm back again today to share one more project that I created using this month's Icing on the Cupcake Card Kit! I'm telling you, this kit inspires so many fun and creative designs! And I really like how this one turned out!

I used the Cupcake and Sprinkles Dies (included in the kit) to die cut the cupcake wrapper, the sprinkles, and the aperture in the center of the card base.  I used the A2 Rectangle Frame Die-Namics to die cut the green polka dot pattern from the Candy Land 6 x 6 Paper Pack, and I popped that off the card base with foam squares.  I did a bit of stamp surgery and used my scissors to cut apart the sentiment from the Sugar-Coated Sentiments Stamp Set (included in the kit), and I stamped the first portion of the sentiment onto some Lavender Fields card stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I die cut it using the Skinny Strips Die-Namics, and I used a white gel pen to add the ellipses at the end. I adhered the cupcake wrapper to the front using some foam squares, and added some enamel dots for movement!  Here's a picture of what the inside of the card looks like:

I used the inside of the green polka dot die cut from the A2 Rectangle Frame die cut as my image panel.  I used the icing die from the Cupcake and Sprinkles Dies to die cut the same aperture as I did on the front of the card.  I positioned the polka dot panel onto the inside card base, traced the inside of the icing with my pencil, and used that area to adhere the sprinkles that I die cut from Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry and Lavender Fields card stock and a glue pen.  I applied tape runner adhesive to the back of the polka dot panel and adhered the cupcake pouch (20 pouches are included in the kit) through the aperture. I added some white sprinkles to the inside of the pouch and sealed it with a 2" x 2" piece of acetate.  I placed the assembled cupcake pouch through the aperture of the front of the card, and closed the card to assure perfect positioning on the inside of the card.  I stamped the second portion of the sentiment onto Lavender Fields card stock with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, heat embossed it with white embossing powder, and die cut it using the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-Namics.  I haven't decorated the inside of a card in so long, and I love the peek-a-boo effect that this technique provides!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below!
