My Favorite Things - Meet In the Middle Cafe All Day Interactive Card & Video!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with a super fun interactive card and process video!!  The recently released Cafe All Day Die-Namics were a perfect fit with the Meet In the Middle Interactive Die-Namics, so I paired them together to create a winter-themed interactive card!

This was a super fun card to make, so I hope you enjoy the video!  You can find it over on the MFT YouTube Channel by clicking on the graphic below!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used for your convenience.

That's it for me today!  It'll be a little quiet around here for a few days since my hubby and I will be heading south for the winter!  I'll be back very soon with the October Release Countdown projects!  Thanks for stopping by today - I sure do appreciate it!

My Favorite Things - September The Vault Release Day 1 (Products Available NOW!)

Hello loves!

I'm so excited to share A LOT of pics of my projects for Day 1 (and the Release Day!) of this month's Vault Release!    Today's projects feature the re-released (and IMPROVED) Level Up Stamp Set and the Game Controller Die-Namics!  These two products are PERFECT for party planning, so I went to work to create four different items that would be super fun and simple to mass produce for any video game loving birthday girl or boy! Are you ready for all the pics?  Here ya go!

I started by creating a card for the birthday girl or boy, using a color scheme that ties into a very popular video game system!  I assembled the largest of the controllers from the Game Controller Die-Namics and stamped one of the sentiments from the Level Up Stamp Set.  I created a focal area with the Blueprints 33 Die-Namics.

How about a little party favor for the guests?!!  I used the Treat Bag Topper Die-Namics and assembled the smaller of the Game Controller diecuts and used that as a charm or embellishment.  The sentiment is from the Level Up Stamp Set, and I threw in some party favors - a game controller eraser, a lime green fidget spinner, and some Green Apple Pop Rocks!  Perfect party favor for the party guests, right?!

And what's a party without treats?!!  I created a cupcake topper using the largest Game Controller die cut (just stuck it to a bamboo pick).  And I created a candy bag (full of lime green, black, and white Jelly Belly's) using the Paper Treat Box Die-Namics, the smaller Game Controller die cut, and the Blueprints 31 Die-Namics.  Pick up some green and black paper plates, cups and plastic silverware, and you've got yourself a party that any gamer and his/her guests would be thrilled with!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects that my teammates have created using more of this month's Vault Release products.  And while you're there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique!  And many of the team will be back again tomorrow with more September Vault Release goodies for you!  But the re-released products are available for purchase NOW and can be found by clicking on the graphic below.

That's it for me today!  I will be back again tomorrow with another September Vault Release project! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back here tomorrow!

My Favorite Things - September Birthday Project Challenge!

Hello again!

I'm back again today to share my project for this month's Birthday Project Challenge!  I don't know about you, but I really enjoy these challenges, because it tasks me with creating much needed birthday cards for my stash, and they force me out of the "basic" card components!  This month, we are challenged to create a birthday card for a pet, or from a pet, that includes a cat or dog image!  Believe it or not, this was harder for me than I thought it would be!  But here's what I came up with!

I used several stamp and die sets to create my project, but I sure had fun creating it!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other festive projects that my teammates have created for you!  And while you're there, why not link up your own birthday card using a cat or dog image for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, but you can't win if you don't play along!

That's it for me today, my friends! Thanks so much for stopping by!  Ill be back again real soon with more crafty goodness!  Have a great weekend!

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch #454!

Hello friends!

I'm popping in today to share my project for this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge!  It is a super fun sketch, with lots of possibilities!  Here's the sketch:

And here's my interpretation of the sketch!

I used the largest of the banner dies from the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-Namics to die cut the rainbow strips from Razzle Berry, Orange Zest, Lemon Drop, Limelight, and Summer Splash card stocks.  I also dry embossed the upper white portion with the Radiating Rays Stencil - you can see the dimension a little closer by clicking on the image to make it bigger.  The sentiment strips was die cut from Black Licorice card stock using one of the dies from Blueprints 29.  The sentiment is from the Full of Sunshine Stamp Set and was stamped using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I die cut the Little Hello Die-Namics from vellum and Lemon Drop card stock, and adhered the two together with liquid adhesive.  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other spectacular projects inspired by this week's sketch!  And while you're there, why not link up your own take on this week's sketch for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique!  You have until September 17th to link up your project!

That's it for me today, friends!  I'll be back again soon with more crafty goodness!  Thanks so much for stopping by today - it fills my heart with happy when you do! Have a great day!

My Favorite Things - September Release with MFT & Friends!!

Hello again!

The day has finally arrived for you to purchase all of the amazing September Release products!  But before you go shopping, I have one more project to share with you, featuring the Floral Focus Stamp Set, the coordinating Floral Focus Die-Namics (used in an unexpected way), and the Mini Hello Die-Namics.

So, before I stamped the Floral Focus Stamp onto my image panel, I used the coordinating Floral Focus Die to emboss the image.  It's super easy to do, and leaves beautiful dimension and interest to the design.  The coordinating die for the Floral Focus Stamp is a solid die, which lends itself perfectly to this cool technique.  I just placed an A2 watercolor panel onto a rubber embossing mat (with the smooth side of the watercolor panel face down), then I placed the die with the flat side down, and placed a cutting pad on top of that and ran it through my die cutting machine.  I flipped the panel over, positioned the flower image from the Floral Focus Stamp Set over the embossed area (I offset both the die and the stamp from the edge of the panel), stamped it onto the panel using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then I faux water-colored the image using Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Ripe Persimmon, Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint Distress Inks to color the image.  I die cut the Mini Hello Die-Namics, first from vellum (using the shadow die from the set), and then from Limelight Card Stock.  I adhered the two together with liquid glue.  I stamped the word Beautiful (after a bit of stamp surgery) from the Essential Sentiments Stamp Set onto some Tickled Pink Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I die cut the sentiment using the Essential Slanted Sentiment Strips and adhered it to the image panel.  I adhered the assembled Hello die cut onto the sentiment strip, and adhered the entire image panel to a Tickled Pink card base.  I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and done!  Here's a closeup of that amazing dimension that you get using that solid die embossing technique.

I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other spectacular projects that my teammates and some of our friends have created for you that feature products from this month's release!  And while you're there, be sure and leave some love along the way to be eligible to win one of TWO $100 Gift Vouchers to the MFT Online Boutique!  You can't win if you don't comment!  ALL of the September release products are available for purchase now and can be found by clicking on the graphic below!

Well hello once again!

We're finally down to the last day of the September Release Countdown!  All of the new goodies will be available for purchase tomorrow at 10:00 AM EDT!  But let's not get ahead of ourselves!  I've gone one last project to share with you before tomorrow's release!  It features the new Free With $60 Purchase Die - Stitch-Able Falling Stars Die-Namics and the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set!

Well you all knew I had to use that Stitch-Able Falling Stars Die-namics - and I had to figure out a way to create a rainbow with them, too!  A needle and some embroidery thread and I am golden!  These dies are super fun, easy to use, and I can think of a dozen different ways to use those stitchable lines!  So you know you'll be seeing these again, and often!  I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set onto some Black Licorice Card Stock using VersaMark Ink and I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder.  Then I die cut it using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-namics and adhered with some foam squares.  Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the new product links won't be live until the release!)

My Favorite Things - September Release Countdown Day 2!

Well hello, again!

I'm back today with another project featuring more amazing products from the September Release!  Today's project features the new teacher-themed products - Lessons In Love Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and Favorite Teacher Stamp Set and coordinating dies - as well as the new Brush Spatter Background Stamp!  As soon as I saw that background stamp, I knew I wanted to create a Composition Book for the background of my card!

I have several friends who are long-time teachers, and I channeled their love for children and the teaching profession to make today's card!  I stamped the Brush Spatter Background (which is a clear polymer stamp, by the way - LOVE!) onto a panel of Black Licorice Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I stamped it several times to make sure that the white was impactful.  I trimmed another strip of Black Licorice Card Stock for the edge of the composition book and layered VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder on the strip for the book binding.  That sweet teacher image was stamped from the Lessons In Love Stamp Set, colored and die cut using the Lessons In Love coordinating die.  The sentiment is from the Favorite Teacher Stamp Set and was stamped onto Smooth White Card Stock and die cut using the Blueprints 33 Die-Namics.  All of the other small images were stamped, colored, and die cut from the Lessons In Love Stamp Set and Favorite Teacher Stamp Set.  Both of these sets are going to be AWESOME to have on hand when it comes time for Teacher Appreciation!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

Same drill as yesterday - Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects for Countdown Day 2!  And while you're there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique!  All of the September Release Products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM EDT!

That's it for me today, my loves!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another September Release Countdown Project, so I sure hope you'll come back then to check it out!  Have a beautiful day!
