My Favorite Things - A New Interactive Card and Process Video!

Hello friends!

Yes, it's been a minute since I've posted!  I didn't mention anything before, but hubby and I went on a trip to Thailand to see our youngest daughter and her adorable little family!  The plan was to spend two weeks in Thailand, and another 10 days visiting their world in China (they're there working until early July).  However, fate and the Corona Virus had different plans for us.  A few days after we arrived in Thailand, countries started closing their borders, and airlines cancelled flights. We were disappointed, to say the very least.  Our kids are still in Thailand, awaiting news that it's safe to return to China, and of course we're anxious for their safety.  But it's all in God's hands now, and we're praying that He is protecting our loved ones through this wild adventure of theirs!

Anywho, I'm back! And back to share another interactive card and process video!  I'm doing something a little bit different today - something that I think is going to BLOW your minds because it's SO stinkin' easy but has a huge WOW factor!

This features the new Birthdays Take the Cake Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  And, I know this looks benign enough - almost boring, right?!  But wait!  There's more!  When I push on that little cherry, the candles light up!  Check it out!

Okay, it might be hard to tell in this photo, but I swear those candles are lit up and soooo stinkin' fun!  And with the new Pear Blossom EZ-Light kits, ANYONE can make this happen!!  I promise it's so easy, and I've filmed a video to show you how I did it!  Just click on that cute little MFTv YouTube graphic below to find the video.  I've also listed and linked all of the MFT Products I used below.

Hello kids!

I'm popping in today to share another project that I created that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! It's another fabulous sketch, and totally spoke to me!  Here's the sketch:

I got my Gemini Foilpress Machine out again today and foiled the new You Impress Me Hot Foil Die onto some Smooth White Card Stock using some raspberry colored heat transfer foil!  I stamped the new Number Jumble Background Stamp onto some Razzle Berry Card Stock using some VersaMark Ink. And then I die cut the Gift Tag Die-Namics from one of the patterns in the new Birthday Brights 6 x 6 Paper Pad!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.

As promised, I'm back again today to share a project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge!  It's another super fun sketch, and it totally rocked my clean and simple world!  Here's the sketch:

I pulled out the Mini Cup Cake Maker Die-Namics to create that adorable cupcake, and I used the Little Birthday Notes Stamp Set to create the sentiment! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below!

My Favorite Things - February Release MFT & Friends!

Hello loves!

It's finally time for you to go shopping for all of the new February Release products! Everyone needs birthday products, right?!! I'm so happy that my birthday card stash has increased with all the great products from this month's release!  Today's project features the new Mini Cupcake Maker Die-Namics, All About You Stamp Set and coordinating die, and the You Impress Me Hot Foil Die.  And did you know that you can use any metal die with your hot foil machine?!! OMGosh - I'm a hot foiling fool these days!

I used the Mini Cupcake Maker Die-Namics to create the cupcake, and I used the You Impress Me Hot Foil Die, some gold heat transfer foil, and my Gemini Foil Press Machine to the scripty "you."  I die cut the foiled word using the All About You Die.  The sentiment is from the All About You Stamp Set, and it was stamped and heat embossed using gold embossing powder.  And the pink frame was created using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX.  Oh, and check out those gold outlined polka dots!  I got that effect by heating up the Peek-A-Boo Polka Dots Die-Namics on my Gemini Foil Press Machine (for 30 seconds), added some gold heat transfer foil and a piece of card stock, and ran it through my Gemini, Jr.! I am so in love, and will be foiling all the things!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 1!

Hello lovelies!

I'm back today - the day before the February Release - to share another project with some of today's featured products!  I know you'll think I'm crazy, but I just couldn't resist pairing two of the sentiments from the Birthdays Take the Cake Stamp Set with the Birthday Buds Stamp Set again!  I seriously can't stay away from those cutie patooties!  I also used one of the new papers from the Birthday Brights Paper Pack!  Yay for new patterned paper!

Okay, I think I'm officially caught up on my birthday cards for the next couple of months, thanks to all of the amazing products from this month's release!  I'm in love with the bold and whimsical sentiments from the Birthdays Take the Cake Stamp Set, and I think that floating sheep from the Birthday Buds Stamp Set is too cute for words!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new February products won't be live until the release on 2/4/20.)
